James Harrison

James Harrison, Jr. (born May 4, 1978) is an American football linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. He was signed by the Steelers as an undrafted free agent in 2002. There is not a fanbase in the world that I hate more than that of the Pittsburgh Steelers. I could tell you why, but instead I will just link you to the Clay Travis article that says it far better than I ever could. As some of you may know by now, Pittsburgh Steelers LB James Harrison unloaded on NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell in an interview with Men's Journal calling him a "puppet" and using a gay slur. Those two have history with Goodell fining Harrison $100,000 in 2010 alone for illegal hits. The top 10 pass-rushers all were designated with sideways arrows or players who have maintained their status, while Groups C and D were dominated by rising stars who should crack the top 10 in the next year or two.But Harrison brings up the brutal sack of Young as he questions whe...

Charlie Sheen, is an American film and television actor. He is the youngest son of actor Martin Sheen. His character roles in films have included Chris Taylor in the 1986 Vietnam War drama Platoon, Jake Kesey in the 1986 film The Wraith, and Bud Fox in the 1987 film Wall Street. The Gazette July 8, 2011 The upcoming Charlie Sheen roast will air Sept. 19, the same night as the season premiere of the new Two and a Half Men, with Ashton Kutcher replacing Sheen. Comedy Central, the US cable outlet producing the Be careful. A virus is spreading rapidly, primarily through Facebook, claiming that Charlie Sheen is dead. Plus, if Ashton tanks, a humbled Sheen could return in a year or two.” Another more cynical writer offers this alternative:   This item about the death by heart attack of actor Charlie Sheen, the Two and a Half Men star who has recently been in the news due to his public feud with the show's producers, is yet another Internet-spread celebrity death hoax. Like earlier repo...

Brian Wilson is a Best Fighter in Play Ground

Brian Douglas Wilson (born June 20, 1942) is an American musician, best known as the leader and chief songwriter of the group The Beach Boys. Within the band, Wilson played bass and keyboards, also providing part-time lead vocals and, more often, backing vocals, harmonizing in falsetto with the group. Brian Wilson struggled into the break, but he was just at his colorful, quotable best for the MLB Network’s red-carpet show. When co-host Harold Reynolds asked the Giants closer about the origins of his beard, Wilson said: “I believe we’re at the one-year anniversary of the child on my face.”Heavily bearded Giants pitcher Brian Wilson, who earlier this year had the honor of fulfilling a lifelong dream of becoming a NYT crossword clue, knows his way around the S.F. food scene as well as he does around a Will Shortz puzzle. Last night on the MLB Network, during the All-Star Game, he chatted with hosts Chris Rose and Kevin Millar about a recent dinner he treated them to at Gary Danko.He...

The Medal of Honor is the highest military decoration awarded by the United States government. It is bestowed by the President in the name of Congress on members of the United States Armed Forces who distinguish themselves through "conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his or her life above and beyond the call of duty while engaged in an action against an enemy of the United States. TimesPresident Obama on Tuesday awarded the Medal of Honor to Sergeant First Class Leroy Arthur Petry, U.S. Army, in the East Room of the White House. Sergeant Petry lost his right hand during combat operations in Paktya, Afghanistan in May 2008 while tossing away an insurgent grenade that could have killed two of his fellow Army Rangers in Afghanistan. Friday Night Lights Direct TV

it will become the cable home of NBC's Friday Night Lights, with the first two episodes airing at 8 PM and 9 PM ET Tuesday as part of the kickoff. A Season 1 marathon of the Texas high school football drama is set for July 14-15, and the series will run in full in sequential order from the start on Thursday nights at 9 PM and 10 PM beginning this week. We know one thing to expect on the Friday Night Lights series finale, which airs in a few days: tears. Many, many tears. What else can fans look forward to? I posed that question to Michael B. Jordan this week. It took until 1 a.m. Tuesday morning for the Roswell City Council to approve a measure granting Fellowship Christian School permission to build a 1,500 seat football stadium complete with lights, a press box and a public address system thanks to a vote of 4-2. ESPN Classic has picked up the repeats of the five-season series, which has been lauded for its realistic depictions of football, family and life in the heartla...

All Star Game Winig Results

The Major League Baseball All-Star Game, also known as the "Midsummer Classic", is an annual baseball game between players from the National League and the American League, currently selected by a combination of fans, players, coaches, and managers.[1] The All-Star Game usually occurs on the second Tuesday in July and marks the symbolic halfway point in the Major League Baseball (MLB) season (though not the mathematical halfway point; in most seasons, that actually takes place one week earlier). With mere hours to go before first pitch in the 2011 All-Star Game, the polls are closed (well, not really—you can vote, but it's too late to be counted in the "official" tally). Here are the most up-to-date results of the question that asked about tonight's game: Who are you rooting for?      Percentage AL                           ...
