Loft

Stunning interiors can be found all over. It’s up to us to recognise craftsmanship and innovative ideas when we see them. Take for example this loft reconversion. Designed and owned by well-known designer Steven Volpe, the loft situated on 355 Bryant St, San Francisco, The Loft Film Fest prefers online entries submitted via Withoutabox.com, which provides cost-saving, paperless submission to film festivals around the world. Withoutabox’s internet-only submission platform features online applications via one master entry form, online fee payments, press kits, It feels like it's been forever since I've shown the progress of my own loft apartment.  Admittedly, between the 10 weeks of strep throat and just trying to fumble gracefully through life, I've let projects go by the wayside .  Now summer is here, and I'm rarely home, so I probably won't be sharing big money shots soon.  Sad face.

Grand Canyon Skywalk

Go where only the eagles dare to fly…welcome to the Grand Canyon Skywalk. Helicopters can take your through her many valleys.  Buses can drive you by her many peaks.  But only you can walk the sky. PLEASE NOTE Google maps/MapQuest does not have the correct route to get to the Skywalk. The road up is 12 miles of HELL. Wash pan for 12 miles and it is going to get worse before it gets better. Add and extra 1 1/2 hours for this 24 mile gem. The view is best though from the glass perch of the Grand Canyon Skywalk -- a 70 foot horseshoe shaped bridge more than half a mile above the

Longest sea bridge opens, "China's Jiaozhou"

China has opened the world’s longest cross-sea bridge - which stretches five miles further than the distance between Dover and Calais. The Jiaozhou Bay bridge is 26 miles (42 kilometers) long and links China's eastern port city of Qingdao to the island of Huangdao. State-run CCTV says the 110-foot (35-meter)-wide bridge is the longest of its kind and cost more than 10 billion yuan ($1.5 billion). "Bunch of wannabes,'' Causeway General Manager Carlton Dufrechou said. The $2.3 billion Jiaozhou Bay bridge in the east China city of Qingdao opened to vehicles Thursday and measures 26 miles, a little more than two miles longer than the Causeway, which checks in at nearly 24 miles. An Associated Press story touts the Jiaozhou Bridge as the new world's longest bridge over open water. So does the Guinness Book of World Records (which now relegates the Causeway to No. 2) and the oft-used- but-sometimes-not-totally-accurate Wikipedia website. The bridge
