kobayashi very Fantastic

Takeru Kobayashi ( Kobayashi Takeru?) (born March 15, 1978) is a Japanese competitive eater. He held the world record for hot dog eating for nearly six years, and holds several other eating records, including four Guinness Records for hot dogs, meatballs, hamburgers, and pasta. On a May evening, in a cramped biergarten behind a German restaurant off the Bowery in Manhattan, Takeru Kobayashi sat down to a plate of Rheinischer Sauerbraten mit Kartoffelklößen und Rutkraut. First, he produced a small camera and began photographing the sauerbraten for his blog, where he catalogs his personal gustatory experiences. The rivalry between legendary hot dog eaters Joey Chestnut and Takeru Kobayashi is sizzling up again, with the two famed gluttons coming to head for another July 4 face-off. But unlike year's past, the duo won't be eating at the same table. Two years ago, Carlos Beltran took down Takeru Kobayashi in their initial hot dog eating contest by pulling the hidden bun tric

hulu is an online video service

Hulu is a website and over-the-top (OTT)  subscription service offering ad-supported on  demand streaming video of TV shows, movies,  webisodes and other new media, trailers, clips, and  behind-the-scenes footage from NBC, Fox, ABC, and many other networks and studios.   Over the weekend, Hulu rolled out Facebook Connect integration. Almost immediately after launch, Hulu had to pull the feature as the company discovered  a technical issue affecting a limited number of users. More specifically, some users weren’t seeing their own  Hulu account information upon login, but someone else’s.   Hulu Plus page, and this week is no different. There’s fewer films (unless they decide to throw up another 30  when I least expect it) but in this case, less is more. And the lucky number is 13 this time. With worries of  what the future for Hulu is, there are supposed talks that Google is definitely interested, which is interesting.  Especially with their roll out of Google+ these past

Since July 4, 1904, Huntington Beach has sponsored the famous Surf City Fourth of July Parade and Celebration, originally celebrating the arrival of the first electric passenger train. Today it stands as the largest parade west of the Mississippi, celebrating the lives of all Americans and our freedom. Discover the Orange County city that defines Southern California. Youth Day Singapore

Last night, over the dinner table, I informed everyone that I had taken the day off today. Mom goes, “Why?” “Because I’ve not taken any leave for a while, and I need a break.” “It’s Youth Day, you know.” My mom knows this because she is a tuition teacher. “Erm, no I didn’t know. I didn’t choose it because it’s Youth Day lah.” The boys’ and girls’ 4x100m relay teams also recorded podium finishes. The girls’ quartet of Veronica Shanti Pereira, Jannah Wong, Eugenia Tan and Ruelia Nesaranjini finished over a second behind Thailand in second place, but their time of 47.70 seconds compares extremely favourably with the national junior record of 47.58 seconds. Leading the Optimist Gold fleet is 12 year old Ryan Lo from Tao Nan School who has sailed a consistent regatta so far winning five out of eight races. Andrew Tang (Raffles Institution) trails him by four points in second position followed by Kimberly Ng (Tanjong Katong Girls’ School) in third. The youth will join cooperat

Abhisit

His party won only 159 House seats, short of at least 170 MPs Abhisit earlier expected. He has told a media that he would step down as the party leader if his party failed to win 170 MPs. On Sunday when he realised the defeat, he said he would make an announcement after the election results were final on Monday. Prime Minister and Democrat leader Abhisit Vejjajiva arrived at Sawasdee Wittaya School polling station at 10:09 am in Bangkok to cast his ballots. The prime minister voted at 10:11 am. An army of reporters waited to interview him there. Abhisit urged voters to come out to exercise their rights. Shortly afterwards, Ms Yingluck made her announcement, thanking her supporters for their votes as well as press members for their coverage of the Pheu Thai Party’s campaign activities for the past 40 days. She also expressed gratitude to Mr Abhisit and all other candidates for doing their part in creating an amicable atmosphere throughout this election. Before the electio

Nancy Grace

Nancy Ann Grace (born October 23, 1959) is an American legal commentator, television host, television journalist and former prosecutor. She frequently discusses issues from what she describes as a victims' rights standpoint, with an outspoken style that has won her both praise and condemnation. "Nancy Grace" is television's only justice themed/interview/debate show, designed for those interested in the breaking crime news of the day. Grace challenges guests on the most high-profile legal issues of the day by drawing on her unique perspective as a former violent crimes prosecutor and as a crime victim herself. Nancy Grace provides viewers with a clear understanding of not only the top crime stories, but also the cases often overlooked. The program, shot this past year in Atlanta at Georgia Public Broadcasting studios in Midtown, will move to Los Angeles and be led by a new host: Jackie Glass, a judge in the Clarke County District Court in Las Vegas. Glass oversaw

Celebrity Rehab Fantastic

It's time for another season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, where celebrities battling addiction come to the Pasadena Recovery Center in the hopes of beating their demons and getting sober once and for all. Now, before we get into the episode, let me state that although I'd normally be snarky and make jokes, I'm not going to do that with this show. I can’t figure out which is the better show, that or Dr. Drew’s nightly series where he’s currently hashing out the Casey Anthony trial. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some of the players in the trial end up in Celebrity Rehab really soon. I do think that Dr. Drew’s heart is in the right place and it does highlight the disease in all its ugliness and fatality with many of it’s former participants ultimately succumbing to addiction (i.e. Mike Starr and Jeff Conaway). Which brings us to Amy Fisher. Yes, she's a celebrity. Come on, if a first degree attempted murder charge (and aggravated assault conviction) and a lame

las vegas weather

The National Weather Service in Las Vegas, Nevada  issued a statement yesterday saying they had reached a record “dew point depression” of 129 degrees (or: low humidity of 1%) when their temperature was 107 with a dew point of -22 F. Las Vegas’ largest dew point depression ever recorded was set on June 27, 2011 at 129 degrees. The dew point depression is the difference between the air temperature and dew point temperature. About 4,000 homes in the metropolitan Phoenix area are without power -- and air-conditioning -- on a record-shattering day of heat in one of the nation's hottest cities. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to move northeast at 15 to 20 mph from Nipton California towards Boulder City Nevada and towards the Lake Mead National Recreation Area through 11 PM tonight. This activity will be capable of producing brief heavy downpours...gusty winds of 40 mph...and small hail. Some showers may occur in the southeast part of the Las Vegas Valley as this a
