A big earthquake hit Japan today. Early Thursday, Japan was jolted by a 6.7-magnitude earthquake in the same area where a 9.0-magnitude earthquake in March caused a destructive tsunami that claimed thousands of lives. The 6.7 magnitude quake was located east coast of Japan, near Honshu, early Thursday morning. The epicenter of the new Japan earthquake occurred near the east coast of Honshu, Japan, the same epicenter as the deadly March 11, 2011 earthquake.
