Katrina Kaif Voted FHM's Sexiest Woman

New Dehli: Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif tops the Sexiest Women 2011 list of men's lifestyle magazine FHM. Katrina had won the title in 2008 and 2009 too. Not only this Katrina edge out Deepika Padukone who won the title last year. The FHM 100 Sexiest Women list is based on online and SMS voting and saw a whopping 35,000 responses this year. "We'd love to say 2011 was a close contest, only Sheila made sure it was far from. A feat that becomes even more significant because no woman in the world across all 28 editions of FHM has ever won the Sexiest Woman in the World title three times in the last 17 years that we've been making the list. Her average is higher than Sachin Tendulkar's and she replaces Deepika Padukone who won the crown in 2010," said Kabeer Sharma, executive editor FHM India, in a statement. Katrina seems to be the toast of the season-she was the only Bollywood actress to feature on the India Today's Elite Power list and is also the most G...

NASA Rolls Out Shuttle Atlantis for Final Time

CAPE CANAVERAL:  The US space agency sent its last shuttle, Atlantis, out to the launch pad at Kennedy Space Center so it can prepare for the final launch of the American shuttle program in July. The shuttle began its trek at 8:00 pm (0000 GMT) on Tuesday. The familiar ritual of rolling a massive shuttle from the Vehicle Assembly Building on a slow journey along a stone-covered crawlerway was a powerful symbol to the thousands of NASA employees who gathered to watch it go. Atlantis's mission, STS-135, is set to launch on July 8 toward the International Space Station and will be the last journey by a US shuttle before the three-decade program officially draws to a close. The end of the US shuttle program leaves Russia as the only nation capable of toting astronauts into space until a replacement US vehicle can be built, likely no earlier than 2015. Newsteam

texas rangers played in Rangers Ballpark

The Texas Rangers are a professional baseball team in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, based in Arlington, Texas. The Rangers are a member of the Western Division of Major League Baseball's American League, and are the reigning A.L. Western Division and A.L. Champions. From 1994 to the present, the Rangers have played in Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, located in Arlington, Texas Would you believe it? There's only four games until the 2011 All-Star Game. This season is dangerously zooming by like a getaway car not slowing down for the curves. The Rangers have already passed the mathematical 81 game mid-season checkpoint and can now see the traditional halfway point with just a couple of yards of straightaway ahead. Pretty much the farthest thing from gangsta are the Orioles right now. Even Robert Andino has shed the stickers from his cap. We've lost seven of the last eight games. Vlad Guerrero is still batting cleanup. Felix Pie is starting in left field tonight. The Texa...

'All My Children' and 'One Life to Live'- Breaking News

All My Children on September 23, and its final episode of One Life to Live in January. Prospect Park is picking up the soaps at a time when ABC is turning away from them: All My Children is being replaced by a food-focused daily talk show called The Chew, and One Life to Live is being replaced by a health and lifestyle show, The Revolution. And ABC parent company Disney transitioned its rerun-centered SOAPnet channel from cable to online last year, replacing it with Disney Junior. “One Life to Live” was born in 1968 and “All My Children” in ‘70. When it announced plans to kill them both, back in April, ABC promised to “honor” the “core, passionate audience and their rich history” by plowing them under “in a manner that respects their legacies and the longstanding hopes of many of their viewers.” Plus, Disney ABC/Television Group president Brian Frons put on his wistful face, and noted “While we are excited about our new shows and the shift in our business, I can’t ...
