Meteor shower tonight: Perseid meteor shower August 13 to be spectacular. The Perseid meteor shower of 2011 peaks in the early morning hours of Saturday August 13th before dawn. It means getting up before the earliest bird, when it is quite dark.
Forecasters expect the shower to peak on the night of Aug. 12-13. The best time to look is during the hours before dawn on Saturday morning, August 13th, when the glaring Moon is relatively low and meteor rates are highest.for more detail see the below ,
According to earthsky.org, the best viewing time will be from about 2 a.m. until dawn, when the moon is low in the south to southwest sky (as seen from mid-northern latitudes).
The International Space Station will be making a series of early morning flybys over the U.S. throughout this week and into the weekend, NASA officials said. The massive orbiting complex shines bright enough that its visibility in the sky is not drowned out by moonlight or city lights.

The difference this year was the fact that it was going to happen on a full moon night, reducing the chances of the stargazers to get hold of the falling stars that may be otherwise visible in a black night. But even if you are not able to watch them in the sky falling all around you and illuminating the sky don’t lose your heart, you may still be able to watch it tonight.
Moonlight was no problem for Stan Nelson of Roswell, New Mexico, who spent peak-night listening to the shower. Nelson monitors the US Air Force Space Surveillance Radar in Texas for echoes of meteors passing over the facility. He recorded this specimen ping at 9:30 am MDT on Aug. 13th:keep reading the newsexcel.com for latest news and reports.

Salman khan compered to Madhuri

Image via Wikipedia Salman Khan, star of 2010 Bollywood box office champ Dabangg has decided to go for the gold again. Before Dabangg, Salman had a long dry spell (in Bollywood terms, anyway), but with that film he was able to take his tough guy/bad boy image and turn it to his advantage with the role of corrupt police officer Chulbul Pandey. A south Indian style good guy with a bad attitude. Chulbul fought the rowdies and dispatched them in proper filmi style. Salman Khan is full of praises for his co-star Asin. With their upcoming film “Ready” all set for release, Salman has gone a step further and compared Asin to Madhuri Dixit. The Dabangg actor said, “It’s a family entertainer, and there’s everything good about the movie, including an ideal woman just like Madhuri in Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. In ‘Ready’ it’s Asin.” On being compared to a diva, Asin stated “Madhuri remains unmatched. If I could be even five per cent of her, I would’ve achieved much.” The actre...
