Kate Gosselin is the wife of Jon Gosselin and the mother of 8 children. The family stars in Jon & Kate Plus 8 is a reality television show produced in the United States by Figure 8 Films about the their family.

I know that I'm glad to be divorced and on my own," she says, addressing ex-husband Jon Gosselin, 34, in a clip from an episode of Kate + 8, which airs Monday night on TLC; the show's final episode will air Sept. 12.
Gosselin first became a TV star in America when Jon & Kate Plus 8 first aired. She has since split from husband Jon and they were divorced in 2009.

A statement from TLC reads, "TLC has decided not to renew another season of Kate Plus 8. By the end of this season, Kate Plus 8 will have hit the 150 episode mark (including Jon & Kate Plus 8) - an exceptional milestone."
Debuting in 2007, originally on Discovery Healthy, "Jon & Kate Plus 8" followed the everyday trials of a Pennsylvania family raising 8 children and later, to much higher ratings, the dissolution of the titular parents' marriage.

Following her divorce from Jon Gosselin in 2009, the renamed "Kate Plus 8" shifted the focus to the female Gosselin starting in Season 6.

Kate recently divulged to the media that she’s interested in dating again, and it’s possible she might be gunning for a spin-off show about her love life.  According to her Twitter feed, Kate says she does not have another show in the works, but that she would like to write another book.  I only hope it doesn’t end up looking like this: “In the meanX,I hope 2have more time4motivational speaking,book writing &other fun work opportunities that come my way
It's Over! The Nielsens Don't Lie! While the jury's out on Monday's show, the verdict on last spring's Kate Plus 8 run was not a good one for Gosselin. Viewership flagged, with episodes barely managing 1 million viewers, if that. The C-word—for cancellation, Aziz Ansari—was heard.

Bollywood Actress Sonakshi Angers Pakistani Fans

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha annoyed some of her fans from Pakistan when she tweeted a morphed picture of Shahid Afridi getting whacked by an Indian batsman just before the India-Pakistan semi final match on Wednesday. The actress added a caption as well: 'De ghumaaaaake! Hehehehahahaha.' But the Dabangg girl did not imagine that her little joke would irritate fans. Her fans started tweeting back, telling her to be a goodwill ambassador between the two countries and learn a few things from Salman Khan. Some of them even unfollowed her on twitter. Sonakshi soon realised the intensity of her tweet and calmed her fans down by asking them to be a sport, and that she was just joking. She then deleted the picture from her twitter account.
