osephina Victoria "Joy" Behar (née Occhiuto; born October 7, 1942)is an American comedian, writer, actress, and a co-host of the talk show The View. Behar began hosting a commentary program in the fall of 2009, titled The Joy Behar Show on CNN's sister network, HLN.

In 2009, she announced — on "The View," natch — tentative plans to tie the knot with Janowitz, her "spousal equivalent." But they called off the engagement later that year, with Behar blaming her own wedding jitters.
