Turn Off the Dark,” has apparently landed the lead role of Jeff Buckley in an upcoming biopic about the late singer-songwriter. This is the project that is being produced by Buckley’s mother, Mary Guibert, not “Greetings From Tim Buckley,” another Buckley-inspired film that will star Penn Badgley as the “Last Goodbye” crooner. Carney can sing, and he certainly looks a lot like Jeff Buckley, so they got at least that much right.
