elvis the so greatest love song

Thousands of Elvis devotees, candles in hand, walked in the humid night to the graves of Elvis and his relatives, some wiping away tears as they filed past. Flower arrangements and heart-shaped wreaths decorated the burial site as "If I Can Dream" and other songs played softly in the background.
Elvis Aaron Presleya (January 8, 1935 – August 16, 1977) was one of the most popular American singers of the 20th century. A cultural icon, he is widely known by the single name Elvis. He is often referred to as the "King of Rock and Roll" or simply "the King".Two years ago Elvis, fresh out of a Memphis, Tennessee high school, was studying to be an electrician and fooling around with a “gee-tar” on the side. One day he made a recording, at his own expense, as a surprise for his mother. Instead his unusual style surprised the recording company manager, who surprised Elvis with a contract. His first professional platter. “That’s All Right, Mama,” set the local teen-agers on fire.

Born in Tupelo, Mississippi, Presley moved to Memphis, Tennessee, with his family at the age of 13. He began his career there in 1954 when Sun Records owner Sam Phillips, eager to bring the sound of African-American music to a wider audience, saw in Presley the means to realize his ambition.
Elvis’ musical influences were the pop and country music of the time, the gospel music he heard in church and at the all-night gospel sings he frequently attended, and the black R&B he absorbed on historic Beale Street as a Memphis teenager.

In 1954, Elvis began his singing career with the legendary Sun Records label in Memphis.
Turn Off the Dark,” has apparently landed the lead role of Jeff Buckley in an upcoming biopic about the late singer-songwriter. This is the project that is being produced by Buckley’s mother, Mary Guibert, not “Greetings From Tim Buckley,” another Buckley-inspired film that will star Penn Badgley as the “Last Goodbye” crooner. Carney can sing, and he certainly looks a lot like Jeff Buckley, so they got at least that much right.

The forces aligned neatly in May for this episode: Osama bin Laden's death had been announced five days earlier; the show started strong with Fred Armisen as bin Laden and later had Jason Sudeikis as Satan, I've had my real rock'n'roll phase and I don't want to go back to it because I wasn't in a good place then.  I didn't realise where I was heading. And I didn't realise I'd end up here.' In 2011 she will take on her first American tour after the American release of Bright Lights and see the release of her collaboration with Tinie Tempah when his single “Wonderman” is released.
