Three hikers who fell over a popular Yosemite waterfall are presumed dead, park officials said late Wednesday morning. Hormiz David, 22, of Modesto, Ninos Yacoub, 27, of Turlock and Ramina Badal, 21, of Modesto were on a day trip to Yosemite National .Park is set to resume at first light Wednesday in an area below a popular waterfall after witnesses reported seeing at least one hiker swept over the falls. ...In fact, it happened 28 times last year in Yosemite National Park alone. The incident took place early in the morning when Chitra and her family were preparing to leave for the rehearsals when they saw the front door of the house open and Nandana missing.
