nasa launch a shuttle

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA,) is an executive branch agency of the United States

government, responsible for the nation's civilian space program and aeronautics and aerospace research. Since

February 2006, NASA's self-described mission statement is to "pioneer the future in space exploration, scientific discovery and aeronautics research.

You might think of asteroids as isolated bodies tumbling alone through space, but it's entirely possible for these old
"loners" to have companions. Indeed, 19-mile-wide Ida, 90-mile-wide Pulcova, 103-mile-wide Kalliope, and

135-mile-wide Eugenia each have a moon. And 175-mile-wide Sylvia has two moons. Measuring 330 miles

across, Vesta is much larger than these other examples, so a "Vesta moon" is entirely possible.

This could be a first step toward recapturing the humidity from our sweat, from our breath, even from our urine,

and recycling it and making it drinkable," said NASA project scientist and experiment leader Howard Levine,

who made a reference to water-recycling "stillsuits" used on a desert world in the science fiction series Dune.

Modern bacteria use an enzyme called nitrogenase to cycle nitrogen from one form to another. This enzyme is

dependent on the presence of metallic elements like iron (Fe), vanadium (V) and, most often, molybdenum

(Mo). However, ancient oceans didn’t contain much molybdenum. Could Fe-nitrogenase or V-nitrogenase

have played a larger role in the archaean oceans than they do today? To answer this question, a team.

ellie goulding singing at the Royal Wedding

In a recent interview to Standard Magazine singer Ellie Goulding talks about her encounter to the royal couple and how they invited her to sing at their wedding. The forces aligned neatly in May for this episode: Osama bin Laden's death had been announced five days earlier; the show started strong with Fred Armisen as bin Laden and later had Jason Sudeikis as Satan, I've had my real rock'n'roll phase and I don't want to go back to it because I wasn't in a good place then.  I didn't realise where I was heading. And I didn't realise I'd end up here.' In 2011 she will take on her first American tour after the American release of Bright Lights and see the release of her collaboration with Tinie Tempah when his single “Wonderman” is released. And that's my dark side, I suppose, and I have to accept it will never fully leave me. The 24-year-old singer was introduced to the couple in May 2010 after her performance at the Radio 1'...

Bollywood Actress Sonakshi Angers Pakistani Fans

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha annoyed some of her fans from Pakistan when she tweeted a morphed picture of Shahid Afridi getting whacked by an Indian batsman just before the India-Pakistan semi final match on Wednesday. The actress added a caption as well: 'De ghumaaaaake! Hehehehahahaha.' But the Dabangg girl did not imagine that her little joke would irritate fans. Her fans started tweeting back, telling her to be a goodwill ambassador between the two countries and learn a few things from Salman Khan. Some of them even unfollowed her on twitter. Sonakshi soon realised the intensity of her tweet and calmed her fans down by asking them to be a sport, and that she was just joking. She then deleted the picture from her twitter account. 'Pak fans very upset. jung ke maidan mein ladne se toh accha hi hai khel ke maidan mein ladein! I am all for love thy neighbour. Be a sport yaar,' she tweeted.

josh hamilton died,,,when he was trying to catch a foul ball

A tragic accident occurred Thursday in Arlington, Texas, where the Texas Rangers were playing the Oakland Athletics, when a 39-year-old fan fell to his death after trying to catch a foul ball thrown by Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton. Oh how things have changed in a single year for LeBron James. It's been 365 days since the infamous "Decision" and I'm not sure that time has heeled this particular wound. Still, in the grand scheme of things, you'd have to say James, the Heat, and the NBA don't regret "the Decision"...ESPN might. In one year, the Heat came within a few games of a championship, James shook off some of his critics (at least through the Eastern Conference Finals), and the NBA Finals received tremendous ratings. night died after Josh Hamilton tossed a foul ball to him in the second inning. Shannon Stone, a Brownwood, Texas, firefighter attending the game with his young son, was along the left field outfield wall and fell throu...
