The klitschko vs Haye most latest

Cruiserweight contender Ola Afolabi knocked out

42-year-old veteran Terry Dunstan with a vicious right

hand at the end of the first round, sending Dunstan's

gum shield flying and ending the fight with authority.

IBF and WBO Heavyweight Champion Wladimir Klitschko (55-3, 49 KO) hopes to get his 50th knockout

victory when he takes on WBA World Heavyweight Champion David Haye (25-1, 23 KO) on July 2.

Of their four combined losses, all have come by knockout, and that's what everyone is expecting when the

fight goes down at the Imtech-Arena in Hamburg, Germany.

Wladimir began to have a bit more trouble actually landing his punches compared to the first and second

rounds. Haye started to duck under sweeping hooks and with 40 second left he landed a few more hard

power punches. Klitschko backed Haye into the ropes and opened up, landing a few punches of his own.

In the past, a heavyweight championship boxing match would have been one of the most anticipated sporting

events of the year. However, since Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis retired almost 10 years ago, the

heavyweight division has lost a lot of its luster.

The fight will begin at 4:45 Eastern Time, July 2nd and will be broadcasted on HBO.  If you don't subscribe

to HBO, this fight may definitely be worth a trial of sorts.  Contact your local cable provider for details.

This is the first meaningful and intriguing heavyweight bout in years.  It doesn't figure to reach the scorecards, as both men bring plenty of thunder

Klitschko vs. Haye has its own special worth, finally bringing the fans an exciting meaningful heavyweight

bout; something we haven’t seen since Lennox Lewis vs. Vitali Klitschko back in June of 2003. It has been a

long time since the fans were thrilled about a heavyweight fight, and thanks to David Haye’s unrelenting verbal
“promoting”, this is it.
