John Boehner to conference: New plan 'not perfect'latest news agency:

the most latest news about the President Barack Obama and House Speaker John Boehner held dueling prime time addresses to the nation and even disagreed on whether there was a stalemate over the debt ceiling. There  is the problem in a nutshell. In an address that immediately followed the president's own, Boehner argued that if the president were to merely sign into law his latest deficit-reduction bill -- which slashes more than a trillion dollars in spending before requiring a second tranche of cuts and a second vote -- "the 'crisis' atmosphere he has created will simply disappear.more infromation about which have taken from the news agencies that is this ,
"The House speaker did say the U.S. cannot default. He said the crisis would be over if the Senate approves a new House Republican plan to be voted on in the House this week, and if the president signs it.

CBS News' Jill Jackson wrote in a tweet that as Boehner left the Capitol he was overheard saying, "I didn't sign up for going mano-a-mano with the President of the United States."The White House also objected to Boehner’s plan, urging the House to take up Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s package instead. Obama is scheduled to speak at 9 p.m. Monday night and Boehner plans to give a response. And to that end, he invoked presidents from Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush to Bill Clinton, all of whom raised the debt ceiling and tried to deal with deficit spending by working across party lines.Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said on the floor Monday that the plan had sign off from Reid during marathon negotiations over the weekend, but it was shot down by President Barack Obama Sunday night. But Reid denied that was the case, saying Republicans continued to insist on a short-term debt-ceiling hike, which he strongly opposed.
