It's Singapore 46th Birthday this year! Newsexcel's Blog wish Singapore a big big 46th Birthday and hope the Singapore spirit continue to shine to the whole world! Well, have you see the theme of Singapore NDP this year, as the image show above? The 46th National Day Singapore was celebrated by Singapore  with a host of activities including a military parade, aerial flypast, fireworks and heart-warming musical near the Marina Bay waterfront here. In his National Day Message, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong called on Singaporeans to continue to work together  to create a brighter future. The 2011 NDP's musical was written by Haresh Sharma. The story revolves around the history of Singapore through the eyes of a mother and her son born in 1965, the same year the country gained full independence, and later through her grandson, who sees the Singapore of today as well as in the coming future. To encourage the NDP audience to reuse the fun pack even after the parade is over,

Facebook ,teen,adults,and students

A new study from California State University, Dominguez Hills released Monday found that spending too much time on Facebook may lead people to suffer psychologically, according to a release from the American Psychological Association. That’s according to Larry Rosen, a psychologist at Cal State Dominguez Hills who’s been studying the effect of technology on people for more than 25 years. Recently, he’s done several studies on how the social networking site affects children. He made his case Saturday at the American Psychological Assn.’s annual convention in Washington, D.C. on Saturday. While social networking site Facebook was created to help people connect with their friends, increasing research in the effect of social media on human interaction is painting a different picture -- one that features the development of antisocial behavior, narcissism and a slew of other character flaws and negative by-products. It's so interesting yet so utterly unsurprising that the views of wha

iphon 5 going to look like

Apple's next iPhone -- which some believe will be called the iPhone 5, others the iPhone 4S -- is widely expected to be heading to stores in September. In a big change from the previous three events, Apple's 2011 Worldwide Developers Conference didn't reveal new iPhone hardware. Sure, attendees got details of iOS 5 at the June 6 keynote address, but true iPhone fans also left the session without any hint of what a new handset might offer or when it would arrive. That being said, the newest rumors surrounding the next iPhone—dubbed “iPhone 5” by many in the media—indicate either a September or October launch. AllThingsD, speaking to unnamed sources “with knowledge of the situation,” is claiming October as the unveiling month.with the possibility of even late October being strong. As ever, if anyone knows anything, feel free to get in touch with us—otherwise, it looks like October will be a month of highs and lows. The phone's rear panel curves around its edges, simil

Gold Prices On New High in India

Rising inflations coupled with gloomy global economy has seen gold prices raise by as much as 34 per cent in the last one year.Experts also say that the weakness of the US dollar against other major currencies like Euro, Japanese Yen and Swiss Franc too contributed towards the trend. Gold is usually used as a hedge against weak dollar and rising inflation. With the wind being taken out of both, inflation and the dollar, gold will have a good northward run for some more time," said a fund house chief added. Ten years ago today gold was valued at $268 an ounce.  One year ago today gold reached $1,200 and people were thrilled.  Now it's above $1,770 and those in the know say it's not even close to the ceiling. Three years ago we did the same story with him when, like today, stocks sank and gold spiked.  And back then gold's high was $875 an ounce.  If someone would have bought after that story they could have doubled their money. Some people are selling and gold buyers ar

London'News " Violence continues "

In London,Violence and looting raged across London and spread to three other major British cities Tuesday, as authorities struggled to contain the country's most serious unrest since race riots set the capital ablaze in the 1980s. A third straight night of disorder saw buildings, vehicles, and garbage dumps set alight, stores looted, and police officers pelted with bottles and fireworks, as groups of young people rampaged through neighborhoods. As authorities struggled to keep pace with unrest unfolding at flash points across London, the violence spread to the central city of Birmingham, the western city of Bristol, the northwestern cities of Liverpool and Manchester. The past two nights saw violence and looting in north London as protesters took to the streets – first to express their frustration with the police following a recent shooting, and then last night, it seems, simply to cause trouble and get free goods from shops. The government was aiming to toughen its stance agains
